Nice to meet you!

I'm June, a product designer based in Singapore with a love for simplifying complex problems and creating meaningful digital experiences.

I started out thinking I’d build a career in public service, driven by a desire to improve systems that shape people’s lives. Along the way, I discovered product design while interning at university and it turned out to be the perfect medium for my obsession with crafting better experiences for the people I work with, and the people my work serves.

How I work
I care deeply about building products that aren’t just quick fixes, but sustainable, scalable solutions. While I often work under tight deadlines, I’m always thinking about extensibility by delivering MVPs today while also laying the groundwork for more improvements in the future.

My strengths

My strength lies in breaking down complex, messy problems and working closely with stakeholders to shape intuitive, scalable solutions. I enjoy asking the hard questions, connecting the dots, and simplifying the complicated.

My other half

Outside of work, I’m constantly honing my craft by joining hackathons. One of my highlights was joining the Build for Good Hackathon by Open Government Products, where my team built a chatbot to help public officers scope problems and discover GovTech tools that could help them digitalise their workflows. When I’m not nerding out, you’ll probably find me at the gym, reading, or watching anime 🤓

I'm currently open to product design roles in civic tech, as well as opportunities in other industries where I can work on meaningful, impactful problems.
